VC 10 lite is a speed-controlled universal vacuum controller for the controlled evacuation of air (gas) from laboratory equipment and for classic separation, filtration or drying tasks in the laboratory. Ready for numerous applications and simple to install, the unit from manufacturer IKA works with the VACSTAR digital and VACSTAR lite vacuum pumps; a cable connection between pump and controller is required. Both manual and programmable modes are available. A valve cleaning function supports long service life, while device-to-device communication delivers high energy efficiency by allowing control of a recirculating chiller via a PC 1.3 data cable (available as accessory). An integrated ventilation valve enables straightforward pressure equalisation and inert-gas venting after process end; the VENT short-cut key permits pressure equalisation during a running process. Up to ten user-defined programmes, each with up to ten pressure/time sequences, can be stored. USB and RS232 interfaces connect to labworldsoft® laboratory software. The electronic control system improves process efficiency and solvent recovery. For added user and environmental safety the VSE 1 vacuum safety emission condenser is recommended (available separately).
