Description
SX751 portable pH/ORP/conductivity/DO meter set is a multi-parameter instrument for laboratory-quality measurement of pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), redox potential (ORP), conductivity (EC), TDS, salinity, resistivity and temperature in general aqueous solutions. Compact construction, IP57 dust- and waterproof housing and the included robust carrying case make it well suited to field use even in harsh environments. Equipped with the 201T-S pH electrode, 301Pt-S ORP electrode, 2301T-S conductivity/temperature electrode and polarographic DO500 electrode, the meter from manufacturer APERA Instruments delivers precise, fast and reliable readings. Users can switch easily between conductivity, TDS, salinity and resistivity; 1- to 3-point pH and 1-point EC calibration are supported. The DO electrode polarises in 5 minutes and reaches 90 % response within 30 seconds, aided by digital filter technology. Up to 400 data sets can be stored and recalled. Typical applications include water treatment, environmental monitoring, beverage production, aquaculture, groundwater and surface-water surveillance as well as aquariums. The complete kit is supplied ready-to-use in a sturdy case with calibration solutions, spare membrane caps, refill electrolyte and accessories.

Questions about SX751 Portable pH/ORP/Conductivity/DO Meter Kit
What is this article?
SX751 Portable pH/ORP/Conductivity/DO Meter Kit is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in Conductivity meters & cells, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.
A conductivity meter and its cell measure how well a solution carries current. The cell constant is the geometry that converts conductance to conductivity, and it is calibrated with a standard. Temperature compensation matters because conductivity rises with temperature.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
