Description
Expert Key 100 eco is a laboratory data acquisition system that measures and converts various analogue and digital signals for further processing with the laboratory device software labworldsoft® 6. A PC connection is made via USB or Ethernet. Multiple sensors can be connected to the Expert Key and read out through labworldsoft® 6. Laboratory devices fitted with an analogue interface can also be linked, then controlled and monitored via the software. The Expert Key 100 eco from manufacturer IKA supports 14 analogue inputs, 2 analogue outputs, 12 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, providing a versatile multi-channel interface for everyday laboratory workflows. Supplied as a single piece complete with a power cable and EU plug, the unit has a net weight of 1,470 kg and a gross weight of 1,970 kg. It offers a practical route to integrate sensors and analogue laboratory equipment into a unified software environment for measurement, control and data handling in research and routine lab settings.
This article is part of Laboratory glass thermometers, in Temperature measurement.

Questions about Expert Key 100 eco, Data collection system laboratory
What is this article?
Expert Key 100 eco, Data collection system laboratory is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in Laboratory glass thermometers, inside Temperature measurement, in Instruments de laboratoire.
A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column, often with a stated immersion depth, total or partial. The range and the division decide the reading. A partial-immersion thermometer read at the wrong depth is wrong by design.
A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
