Description
0,5 ml microtubes with standing base and screw cap are laboratory sample tubes moulded from medical-grade USP Class VI polypropylene in line with USP and FDA requirements. They withstand centrifugal forces up to 20,000 g RCF and tolerate freeze cycles at −80 °C as well as thaw cycles at room temperature, supporting cold-storage and processing workflows. An integrated O-ring in the threaded closure improves sealing and mechanical stability during mixing, transport and centrifugation. The tubes are free from DNases, RNases, endotoxins, human DNA, PCR inhibitors and ATP. Production takes place in class 100000 cleanrooms without secondary assembly, helping maintain a contamination-controlled environment. Offered by manufacturer Labbox in packs of 100 pieces, the standing-base design allows upright placement on the bench without a separate rack. These microtubes suit molecular biology, sample archiving, reagent aliquoting and general laboratory handling where secure screw-cap closure and certified purity are required. A sterilisation certificate is available for download from the manufacturer.

Questions about 0.5 ml microtubes with skirt, screw cap, 100 pcs
What is this article?
0.5 ml microtubes with skirt, screw cap, 100 pcs is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Labbox for laboratory use. It sits in Microcentrifuge & reaction tubes, inside Microplates, PCR & reaction tubes, in Consommables.
A microcentrifuge tube, the familiar 1.5 mL or 2 mL flip-cap tube, holds a small reaction or a spin-down. The cap style, the centrifugal-force rating and whether the tube is low-binding are the specification. A PCR tube is thinner and is a different article.
A microplate is an array of wells so the same step can be done many times. A deep-well plate holds more volume. A PCR plate or a strip of tubes is thin-walled so the temperature of a cycler reaches the liquid quickly. A seal keeps the well from evaporating. The well number, the working volume and whether the plate is skirted for a robot are the choices. Diagnostic test systems are listed under ISO in vitro diagnostic systems. Methods are on PubMed.
