Description

CHROMABOND Flash DL 330 empty columns are Direct Load flash cartridges built for solid sample application in larger-scale preparative flash chromatography. Each polypropylene cartridge offers a working volume of 600 mL, suitable for approximately 330 g of silica gel or 250 g of diatomaceous earth, giving users ample capacity for custom packing and higher sample loads. Three polyethylene filter elements accompany every column—one pre-inserted and two further pieces included—so frits can be arranged to suit dry-load or slurry-pack procedures. Standard Luer-Lock fittings (female inlet, male outlet) simplify connection to flash instruments and transfer lines. Delivered in packs of 10 pieces from manufacturer Macherey-Nagel, these empty columns support method scale-up, flexible media choice, and solid-phase sample introduction when pre-filled cartridges are not preferred. They form part of the CHROMABOND Flash Direct Load series used in organic synthesis, natural-product work, and purification laboratories that need robust, user-packable cartridges with reproducible handling characteristics.

This article is part of SPE cartridges & columns, in SPE & sample preparation.

Questions about Chromab. Flash DL 330, empty columns

What is this article?

Chromab. Flash DL 330, empty columns is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Macherey-Nagel for laboratory use. It sits in SPE cartridges & columns, inside SPE & sample preparation, in Chromatography equipment.

An SPE cartridge holds a bed of sorbent. Bed mass, sorbent chemistry and volume are the specification. A 100 mg C18 cartridge and a 1 g C18 cartridge take different sample loads and different elution volumes. The method names all three.

Solid-phase extraction holds a compound on a sorbent while the rest of the sample is washed away, then releases it in a small volume. The sorbent, the bed mass and the solvents are the method. Silica, ion exchangers and polymer phases do different jobs. A flash column is the same idea scaled toward purification rather than trace cleanup. The molecules are on PubChem, named by IUPAC.
