Hot-sphere probe, Ø 3 mm, digital, with integrated temperature sensor and cable connection is a thermal anemometer probe for determining flow velocity and volumetric flow. It is especially suitable for low flow velocities up to +10 m/s and for non-directional, undefined air flows, while also measuring temperatures up to +70 °C. The very small 3 mm probe diameter enables measurements at confined and difficult-to-access locations. An extendable telescope reaches a maximum length of 860 mm for flexible positioning. Digital measurement-value processing occurs directly in the probe, so instrument measurement uncertainty is eliminated. The probe can be calibrated independently of the measuring instrument; calibration data stored in the sensor produce a zero-error display. The cable-connected digital design from manufacturer Testo provides stable connection to compatible multifunction meters. Net weight is 0,3 kg. Supplied as a single piece for HVAC ductwork, ventilation assessment and laboratory air-flow applications where low velocities and restricted access are typical.
