Description
KORASILON® paste, high viscosity is a specialised silicone paste for laboratory grinding, vacuum sealing and release-agent applications. It is intended for service from −50 to +200 °C, remaining usable from cold storage conditions through elevated process temperatures. Density is approximately 0,97 g/cm³ and the flash point exceeds 300 °C, supporting thermally demanding bench work. The high-viscosity grade forms a thicker film suited to ground joints, seals and surfaces where lower-viscosity pastes would migrate too readily. Supplied in a practical 35 g pack from manufacturer Obermeier, it fits routine glassware care, apparatus assembly and vacuum-system preparation.
