The extremely space-saving LaboStar PRO UV 2 ultrapure water system for the cost-effective production of analytically pure water can be used as a benchtop or wall-mounted unit.
The water quality with a conductivity of 0.055 µS/cm, corresponding to 18.2 MΩ-cm, and a TOC content of 1-5 ppb by UV oxidation exceeds the common quality standards.
Deionized water, distilled water or permeate from a reverse osmosis system is required as feed water for the LaboStar systems. In the LaboStar units, a polisher module with a selection of the purest treatment materials ensures ultrapure water quality. A conductivity measurement in the recirculation constantly monitors the purity of the product water.
A 0.2 µm sterile filter with bacterial and endotoxin retention capacity is located on the dispenser. The user can produce water with an endotoxin content of < 0.001 EU/ml without investing in an ultrafilter. A 0.2 µm filter without endotoxin retention is also available.
