The hinged Safe-Lock lid helps prevent unintentional opening during incubation and storage, while the precise lid seal supports very low evaporation rates in long-term storage. g-Safe® centrifugation resistance reaches exceptionally high values of up to 30.000 × g depending on the tube variant, reducing the risk of vessel breakage, sample loss and exposure when working with hazardous materials. Production without mould-release agents, plasticisers or biocides avoids substances that can impair bioassays. A large lid and frosted exterior make labelling straightforward. These tubes from manufacturer Eppendorf remain reliably functional between −86 °C and 100 °C and are autoclavable in the open state at 121 °C for 20 minutes. The pack comprises 500 tubes supplied as 10 bags of 50 tubes, suited to routine laboratory use where Forensic DNA Grade purity is specified.
