Anodized aluminum blocks accommodate vessels, micro tubes, centrifuge tubes, PCR tubes, PCR strips and plates, microplates and cuvettes; the solid blocks may also be used for slides or drilled to match specific requirements. Silica promotes more uniform temperature distribution while stainless steel gravel supports faster temperature response. From manufacturer Ohaus, the kit includes a PT100 RTD temperature probe, stand rod, thermometer clamp and socket. When precision is required the probe enables display of the current block or sample temperature. This accessory forms part of the industry’s most extensive modular-block range with over 40 options.
