Integrated sensor technology enables SmartBlock-specific calibration for high temperature accuracy and homogeneity; every unit is individually checked for temperature accuracy during production and supplied with a serial-number-specific certificate for documentation. Thermal insulation of the block supports ergonomic handling and helps protect fingers during operation in line with the PhysioCare Concept. Automatic block recognition and Eppendorf QuickRelease technology allow fast, tool-free exchange of blocks. This SmartBlock from manufacturer Eppendorf is intended exclusively for use with the ThermoMixer C and ThermoStat C systems and is supplied as one piece for laboratory temperature-control workflows involving 5,0 mL vessels.
