Description
SONOPULS TS 103 titanium sonotrode is a 3 mm radiating-diameter probe for ultrasonic sample processing. Manufactured from titanium alloy TiAl6V4 (3.7165), the sonotrode transmits mechanical oscillations into the sample and is thermostable, autoclavable and resistant to corrosive media. It is compatible with UW 50, SH 100 G and SH 200 G units as well as HD 4050, HD 4100 and HD 4200 systems, connecting via step or booster horns. Selection of sonotrode type depends on sample volume, vessel diameter and the desired amplitude; higher amplitude enables more intensive sonication. Supplied as a single package from manufacturer Bandelin, this accessory supports homogenisation, disruption and related ultrasonic applications in laboratory workflows where durable, chemically resistant titanium probes are required.
