Sponge SurfACE NB is a pre-moistened surface sampling sponge wetted with neutralising buffer for microbiological hygiene monitoring. Intended for environmental and equipment surface checks in accordance with ISO 18593, the sponge matrix maximises contact area and supports efficient recovery of microorganisms where cleaning agents or sanitisers may remain. The neutralising buffer helps protect target organisms during sampling and transit to the laboratory, improving the reliability of culture-based results in food, industrial and related quality programmes. Supplied in bags of 200 pieces from manufacturer Romer Labs, the format is practical for frequent sampling rounds and multi-site monitoring schemes.
