Description
The standard incubator BF400-230V is a forced-air incubation chamber for gentle laboratory incubation tasks from +5 °C above ambient temperature up to +100 °C. With a nominal volume of 400 l, it is suited to fully loaded chambers and higher sample throughput while maintaining homogeneous conditions and rapid recovery. APT.line™ preheating chamber technology, adjustable fan speed and an adjustable exhaust air flap enable precise control of temperature and air exchange. The controller includes time functions together with program memory and programmable operation for structured incubation runs. An inner door of safety glass (ESG) supports observation without fully opening the chamber, and two chrome-plated racks provide flexible loading. A Class 3.1 temperature selector monitor according to DIN 12880 with optical temperature alarm enhances process monitoring. Computer connectivity is available via RS 422, with Ethernet listed among the interfaces. This BF-series incubator from manufacturer Binder is supplied as 1 pc for professional laboratory incubation work.

Questions about Standard-Incubators BF400-230V
What is this article?
Standard-Incubators BF400-230V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Binder for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Lab instruments.
A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
