Description

ROTI®Calipure osmolality linearity set is a multi-level calibration series for checking the linear response of osmometers across a wide measuring range. The set covers the nominal levels 100, 300, 500, 850 and 2000 mOsm/kg H2O and is supplied in 10 ml glass ampoules for convenient laboratory use. With a density of approximately 1,18 g/cm³ and a boiling point of 100 °C, the solutions support reproducible handling during calibration, linearity verification and ongoing quality control in clinical, pharmaceutical and research environments. Offered in the ROTI®Calipure line from manufacturer Carl ROTH, the set enables laboratories to evaluate instrument performance from low to high osmolality without preparing individual standards in-house. Each ampoule is intended for controlled opening and transfer according to the osmometer manufacturer’s procedure, helping maintain reference integrity until use. Ideal for method validation, routine performance checks and multi-point calibration protocols, this linearity set provides defined aqueous osmolality references for freezing-point and related osmometric techniques in analytical workflows.

Questions about Standards for Osmolality, ROTI®Calipure linearity set, 10 ml, glass ampoule

What is this article?

Standards for Osmolality, ROTI®Calipure linearity set, 10 ml, glass ampoule is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in Reference substances & reagents (other), inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

A reference substance has a stated identity and a stated content, used to check a method or to standardise a titration. It is a more tightly specified article than a reagent grade bottle of the same name. The lot's certificate is part of the product.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
