Description

SX726 portable conductivity/DO meter is a cost-effective multiparameter handheld instrument for conductivity, TDS, salinity, resistivity and dissolved oxygen measurements. It suits industrial and mining sites, energy utilities, wastewater plants and environmental work, especially outdoor and on-site use. Conductivity spans 0 to 199,9 mS/cm, TDS 0 to 100 g/l, salinity 0 to 100 ppt and resistivity 0 to 100 MΩ·cm, with resolution 0,01/0,1/1 μS/cm or 0,01/0,1 mS/cm and accuracy ±1,0 % F.S ±1 digit. Cell constants 0,1/1/10 cm⁻¹ and temperature compensation 0 to 50 °C (automatic or manual) support flexible setups. Dissolved oxygen covers 0 to 200,0 % and 0–20,00 mg/l at resolution 1/0,1 % or 0,01/0,1 mg/l, accuracy ±0,10 mg/l to ±0,40 mg/l and response ≤30 s (25 °C, 90 %). Automatic temperature (0–45 °C), manual air-pressure (66–200 kPa) and automatic salinity compensation (0–45 ppt) improve field reliability. The meter (65×120×31 mm, 180 g) stores 200 data groups and ships as a complete kit with 2301T-S conductivity electrode, DO500 electrode, standards, membrane caps, batteries and carrying case from manufacturer APERA Instruments. CE-marked with two-year instrument warranty.

Questions about SX726, Portable Cond./DO Meter Kit

What is this article?

SX726, Portable Cond./DO Meter Kit is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes APERA Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in Conductivity meters & cells, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

A conductivity meter and its cell measure how well a solution carries current. The cell constant is the geometry that converts conductance to conductivity, and it is calibrated with a standard. Temperature compensation matters because conductivity rises with temperature.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
