Ultra-micro cuvette type 105.251-QS is a precision optical cell fabricated from high-performance quartz glass for spectrophotometry and fluorometry over 200 nm to 2500 nm. Geometry is defined by a path length of 3 × 3 mm, an aperture of 5 × 3 mm (height × width) and a centre height of 15 mm, corresponding to a sample volume of 45 µl; a PE stopper completes the assembly. Hellma precision cuvettes are made entirely in Germany and are thermally bonded rather than adhesive-joined, providing strong chemical and thermal resistance and helping avoid unwanted leakage. Selected high-performance quartz glasses achieve transmission greater than 82 %, enabling accurate, reproducible measurements on common laboratory spectrophotometers. Chamfered edges facilitate safe handling and reduce edge damage. The cells are designed for cleaning and repeated use, supporting long-term, resource-efficient operation. Manufacture under EN ISO 9001 and EN ISO 14001 ensures consistent optical quality. SUPRASIL® denotes the quartz glass grade employed in this Hellma ultra-micro design for compact path-length work with minimal sample consumption.
