Vane probe, Ø 16 mm, digital, with integrated temperature sensor is a wired measuring probe for determining flow velocity, volume flow and air temperature in ventilation ducts. Used with a compatible Testo multifunction measuring instrument (ordered separately), it covers a measuring range of +0,6 … +50 m/s and delivers high accuracy from 5 m/s upwards. The probe head is linked to the handle by a permanently attached cable and incorporates a telescopic shaft that extends to a maximum length of 1,0 m; a high-contrast scale makes immersion depth easy to read even in poor light. A clearly structured volume-flow menu supports intuitive operation: duct dimensions and geometry are entered once, after which the instrument calculates volume flow precisely and displays time- and point-averaged values, current reading and min/max data. A button on the probe itself starts or stops measurement series and stores individual values for averaging. The universal handle concept allows the probe head to be exchanged or combined with optional Bluetooth® handles and telescope extensions (up to 2 m total length) for large air-handling units. Digital calibration is performed on the probe alone, so the base instrument remains in service. Supplied as a single unit from manufacturer Testo for laboratory and HVAC measurement tasks.
