Description

Digital torque measuring instrument SAUTER DA 10-3 enables convenient testing of screw closures on bottles, jars and similar packaging. It is optimised for containers with diameters from 15 mm to 160 mm and supports quality checks in food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics manufacture, including items such as lipstick tubes. A Quick-Pin system allows the four rubber-coated bottle holders to be plugged in rather than screwed, speeding changeover between pack sizes. The metal housing is intended for lasting use in robust environments, while anti-slip rubber feet stabilise the unit on the bench. A backlit LCD graphic display and a rising light-band capacity indicator aid clear reading; peak-hold captures the maximum value and track mode provides continuous display in both rotation directions. Programmable upper and lower tolerance limits give acoustic and optical support during measurement, and AUTO-OFF helps conserve power. Internal memory stores up to 500 measurement data for transfer via the included USB and RS-232 interfaces. The instrument from manufacturer Kern is supplied with four bottle holders and a robust carrying case as a complete single-piece kit with 3,0 kg net weight.

Questions about Digital Torquemeter SAUTER DA 10-3

What is this article?

Digital Torquemeter SAUTER DA 10-3 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes KERN for laboratory use. It sits in Hygrometers & humidity meters, inside Temperature measurement, in Lab instruments.

A hygrometer measures the water in the air, as relative humidity or as dew point. It is the instrument for a desiccator room, a stability chamber or a store. The sensor drifts, and the calibration is part of believing the number.

A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
