Description

Glass set G1 NS 29/32 is a diagonal condenser glassware package for standard distillations on rotary evaporators. This cost-effective variant includes one 1000 ml evaporating flask and one 1000 ml receiving flask. The standard ground joint is NS 29/32, with NS 24/29 available on request. A ventilation cap without ground-joint connections supports simple handling and grease-free evaporation. An optional ventilation valve with a precise redosing function can be obtained separately. The set is not suitable for the automatic distillation programme Dynamic AUTO accurate with Hei-VAP Expert or Ultimate Control models. On request, glass sets for Soxhlet extraction and for descending cooling systems can also be supplied. This G1 package from manufacturer Heidolph is intended for laboratories performing routine rotary evaporation and conventional distillation. Delivered as one complete set, it equips compatible evaporators with a diagonal condenser path, matched flasks and the accessories needed for everyday solvent recovery and concentration tasks in research and production environments.

Questions about Glassware G1 NS 29/32

What is this article?

Glassware G1 NS 29/32 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Heidolph for laboratory use. It sits in Distillation heads, adapters & columns, inside Distillation & extraction glassware, in Labware.

A still head, an adapter or a column is the glass between the boiling flask and the condenser. A Vigreux or packed column gives the vapour a surface so a closer-boiling mixture can separate. The joint sizes at both ends have to match the flask and the condenser.

Distillation separates liquids by boiling point. A condenser turns the vapour back into liquid: Liebig, coil and cold-finger shapes differ in how much cooling surface they offer. A still head and a column sit between the flask and the condenser. A Soxhlet extractor washes a solid again and again with the same solvent. Ground joints have a standard size, and the joint, not the flask, is what has to match. The pieces are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
