Description

HPM BScope TEPLi trinocular microscope is a laboratory light microscope with infinitely corrected optics and an integrated Köhler field diaphragm. The binocular/trinocular tube provides a 30° inclined viewing angle, 360° rotation and dual adjustable ergo function, built into an all-metal stand with practical recessed grips. WF 10x/20 mm wide-field eyepieces work with E-Plan objectives 4x, 10x, S40x and S100x (spring-loaded at 40x and 100x) in a four-position nosepiece, delivering magnifications of 40x, 100x, 400x and 1000x. An integrated mechanical stage measuring 152 x 131 mm uses rack-and-belt drive for convenient one-hand operation. The height-adjustable Abbe condenser (N.A. 1,25) includes an iris diaphragm and filter holder. Illumination is a dimmable 3 W NeoLED system that can optionally be battery-powered. This configuration from manufacturer Windaus is supplied with a dust cover, power cable and operating manual, and is suited to routine brightfield work in research, teaching and quality-control laboratories. Further accessories are available on request.

Questions about HPM BScope TEPLi, trinokular

What is this article?

HPM BScope TEPLi, trinokular is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Windaus for laboratory use. It sits in Microscope objectives, eyepieces & optics, inside Microscopy & histology, in Lab instruments.

An objective makes the resolution. Magnification and numerical aperture are the two numbers, and the tube length or the infinity correction has to match the microscope. An eyepiece mostly enlarges the image the objective already resolved. A mismatched objective does not become sharper by zooming.

A light microscope forms an image with glass lenses and transmitted or reflected light. A stereo microscope is the lower-magnification instrument for dissecting and for looking at a surface. Fluorescence needs a light source and filters matched to the dye. Histology is the preparation that makes a tissue readable: fixation, a cassette, a section, a stain. The objective's magnification and numerical aperture decide the resolution. The slide and the cover glass decide whether the section sits in the focal plane. Stains and dyes as substances are identified on PubChem. Papers on the methods are on PubMed.
