Description

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-44 ROTI®Star is a multi-element calibration standard formulated for inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. It provides 18 elements—arsenic, barium, beryllium, bismuth, cadmium, cobalt, chromium, copper, gallium, lithium, nickel, lead, rubidium, strontium, titanium, thallium, vanadium and zinc—each at 1000 mg/l in a 5%. HNO3 matrix. Density is approximately 1 g/cm³ and the boiling point is above 83 °C. supports instrument calibration, multi-element method development and routine quality control in environmental, industrial and research laboratories that require simultaneous determination of a broad analyte set. This CR-44 ROTI®Star preparation from manufacturer Carl ROTH is intended for ICP-MS workflows where a nitric acid matrix helps maintain element stability and compatibility with common sample-introduction systems. UN number 3264 applies to transport classification. The solution is positioned among analytical standards for AAS and ICP and is suited to laboratories building or verifying multi-element calibration curves.

This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

Questions about ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution, CR-44 ROTI®Star 18 elements , 100 ml

What is this article?

ICP-MS Multi-Element Standard Solution, CR-44 ROTI®Star 18 elements , 100 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Lab chemicals.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
