Description

Screening System Package (8 cells) is a multi-batch electrosynthesis platform tailored for constant-current operation with eight undivided pot cells. It enables simultaneous work on multiple samples and can be combined with other laboratory equipment. Two DC power supplies, each with four outputs, allow independent setting of 0 – 32 V or 0 – 10 A per channel. Reaction cells may be fitted with electrodes of identical or different materials depending on the electrosynthesis under study. The cells are arranged in a heating block that is heated via the included magnetic stirrer when required; an external PT 1000 temperature sensor provides precise monitoring and regulation of block temperature. From manufacturer IKA, the system supports digital recording of experimental parameters and full temperature control. Up to eight undivided cells operate simultaneously and independently, yielding sufficient material for GC, LC or NMR analysis. Separate control of each cell simplifies testing of identical or varied electrolysis setups and speeds identification of ideal process parameters. Simultaneous mixing and heating plus Labworldsoft 6.0 control and automation help save time and resources in electrosynthetic screening.

What is this article?

Screening System Package (8 cells), System for electrosynthesis, multi-batch, 8 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes IKA for laboratory use. It sits in pH & electrochemistry accessories, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Lab instruments.

These are the buffer-bottle holders, the electrode storage vials, the cables and the spare junctions. An electrode stored dry that should have been stored wet is a damaged electrode. The accessory has to be the one that electrode's manual names.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
